The Voyage is over! Guess Who's Back Touring?

The once so-called JPOP princesses BoA and Koda Kumi are back on stage! Or they were... Because them tours are almost, or over already! They surely don't know the meaning of peace.

Just like any other performer under contract with AVEX, and a recently released album; these hoes had to tour for Bon Voyage and Who's Back?. Oh, also AFTERSCHOOL's irrelevant asses will be touring in November after Dress To Kill was sent to die back in March.

Check out some previews of what's about to be released soon, or by the end of 2014/early 2015:

New Release: Kalafina - "Believe" 11/19/2014.

CD Only

Mah singing angels from seventh heaven are releasing another single. YES ANOTHER SINGLE.
They can't help it. Yuki has become a pimp lately, endorsing as many animes as she can find, and have these girls sing the opening and ending themes for new series. Sometimes I wish they could get rid of the anime gimmick and find independence from tie-ins... But that would be a bad business move, so they have to keep their asses under Yuki Pimpyura's management if they want to get dat money. Covers and tracklist!:

Check out Color Code's Debut PV "I Like Dat".

"You like dis?"

Color Code is a new girl group that will be using "Fashion" as their concept. Nicola Formicehetti, -famous fashion director- together with Nippon Columbia, held an audition named POP ICON PROJECT TOKYO, in order to find some pretty hoes for a new girl group and make dat money.

Tsujikawa Nanami (left), Yasukawa Marisa (center), and Moriyasu Maku (right), were the winners of said odishon. In order to follow up with the rehashed concept about fashion forward models, they died their hair in awful colors, pose like they already the next big thing, and wear whatever Nicola could find at the Dolla Sto'. And so here is their debut single I Like Dat:

New Release - BoA "Who's Back?" 03/09/2014

Is dis bitch fo' real?

BoA is finally dropping a new album!!

Or at least the album itself it's new, cuz da songs have all been released before, and no, one new track doesn't make a new album. Who dis bitch think she is?!! Releasing a full studio with only ONE NEW SONG after a 4 year gap?!?!?! I was hating on Ayu for releasing Love Again, because that shit was a compilation of her last two mini albums, which were released 3 and 6 weeks before. But dis shit right here... NO. Tracklist and covers:

New Release: Yamashita Tomohisa "Asobi". 20/08/2014

JPOP Prince Yamapi is back!. Well, he's no prince anymore, but name a relevant JPop solo male act besides him and Akinishi... Miura Daichi you said? Sho'. Keep tryin'! And NO, Atsushi doesn't count, he's doesn't do JPop.

Asobi is the title of Pi's upcoming mini album. The theme is "Dance Music", which means more shit tons of EDM. He did something similar with Magic from A-Nude, so it's no shock he pursued that path. I was getting worried about him, with his recent scandals about Sauna bitches not wanting to help with out with his needs, and supposed "Theft", that has been on tabloits lately. Also there was no March/April single this year. But he's back in track! Cover:

New Release: Koda Kumi - "HOTEL" 06/08/2014

CD Only
CD + DVD

Following her yearly tradition of releasing a summer single, Kumi Koda is at it again, doing her thang and bang at a Hotel.
She looks good in dem covers, a huge step up from those ratchet ass Summer Trip covers. No ass hanging out, no cheap wig, no grill reflecting the camera's flash. Just Kumi being all pretty and sexy and shit, she actually looks hotter and sexier when she's not trying so hard to be skanky. Dat CD only cover tho. <3 Tracklist!!:

Album Review: BoA "The Face".

Cheap smartphone camera shot!

In "celebration" of the upcoming "new" BoA album, I decided to review the only one of hers that I own a copy of: The Face. This record and the whole era itself have many things in common with her current era/style, and "Who's Back?" (Upcoming new Japanese album). The most obvious being the fact that she'll include a shit ton of singles in the tracklist, and that Who's Back has potential to be a HOT ASS MESS, since there's no concept and seems like everything will be rushed with no actual musical direction. Onto my first album review!

MARIA and her cheap trick are back in the PV for "aaight". Some other dudes are featured too.

"Who's yo daddy?"

J-Urban MARIA SPOTED IN A NEW MV!

After a long awaited return, the one and only female pimp has made a return. The queen of pimpin' is not alone, she brought the famous blonde trick from her *now classic* Helpless Hoe video with her. And they're both heavily featured in the MV for "aaight", which is a track from some Souljha something, and also features a guy whom may have been in prison.

New Release: the brilliant green - "The Swingin' Sixties". 23/07/2014

Back in the early 2000's, there was this 3 member rock band, they mostly made mid-tempo, rock music in english. the brilliant green is that group, and while they were popular at the time, now they are lucky enough to have a contract with a major label, since they sell like shit nowadays. But that's no problem to them, because they are releasing a self cover album: The Swingin' Sixties. Tracklist:

Tommy takes the costume off for the brilliant green's new PV: "A Little World".

So in positive news:

Tomoko Kawase -a.k.a Tommy February6, a.k.a Tommy Heavenly6, a.k.a The inspiration for this blog's name-, or just Tommy, has been working with her husband, and that's how the brilliant green, after a long ass time, are making a proper return.

Shit just got real with FAKY. First and last release of the group: "The One".

My reaction to these news.

FAKY is dat girl group AVEX made up last year. They marketed and hyped the girls as the group we all were waiting for: "Something real and new", "Bilingual members with actual talent", "World class music", etc. They premiered their debut song Better Without You on TV, not only in Japan, but in a few other european countries as well. So, with all the hype, teasers, and all the shit in between, these chicks were expected to deliver and get themselves a nice career.... But it seems dat ain't gonna happen, cuz there's some DRUUUAMUUUH!

Jpop's newest solo male act, Natt Weller wears a skirt for his new video "Burning in The Light".

Paul Weller's son Natt Weller is debuting as a solo artist in Japan. Do I know who this guy or his dad are? Not really, I made some research but I only payed attention to the relevant, which is:

Ratchet Wannabees WA$$UP are coming back, they keep popping those flat booties.

Ladies and gentlemen, I introduce you South Korean girl group WA$$UP. Yes, it is stylized like that. You may be thinking "anotha girl group!?", well yes, another one. But these chicks are different! Just check the picture above, first of all they are using the Brazil World Cup as a concept, and there's a couple of tanned members!.

They debuted last summer with this song/video:

New Release - Kaori Oda "Tsuisou Kanon" 25/06/2014

                                                                           "THIS GURL IS ON FIYAAAAAAAH!"

Kaori Oda is releasing another single, Tsuisou Kanon will be her 6th solo single, and it drops on June 25th. A bit more than just a month over her most recent studio album. Here's the tracklist:

New Release: Kalafina - The Best "Red" and "Blue". 07/16/2014

CD Only - Red

CD Only - Blue

JPop's angel-like girl group, Kalafina. Will be releasing 2 Best Albums in the upcoming July 16th.

RED and BLUE are going to be released in 4 Editions (2 Each), and the covers + tracklists are out already. And they are BEAUTIFUL.

Tetsuya's having a kid, while Yamapi gets no love.

FO'REAL YO!!!

This shit came out of nowhere. Way to crush my hopes.

Recently it was made public that L'Arc~en~Ciel's leader and bassist, Tetsuya is having a kid. Now, I have no problem at all with him being happy and making things to his 20 year younger-model wife, even less with him having a baby, but this only crushes my hopes for L'Arc to reunite and do more than just a 2 night event (More on that soon), they barely do anything with their solo/side careers, and with the leader expecting a baby and flopping hard with his solo career, it's more unlikely that they'll do a proper return.

Kaori Oda tours overseas, celebrates her birthday performing and premieres new PV.

MY fave Jrocker chick has been busy, from doing her radio show "Kaori Oda - Colourful Mode", to performing at Taiwan and promoting her upcoming album. She really is making the most off the faith her label has on her.

Namie Amuro to release a ballad best album.

Soooo unexpected and out of nowhere, rearry I can't recall what the BALLAD ONLINE POLL was for and how it even was on Feel Tour 2013's promo inserts.

A few weeks ago, Namie Amuro and her team held an online poll, we were asked to vote for the ballads that we liked the most of her discography, which means they were only 8 ballads and 20 mid-tempo songs.
It was just a matter of when they were going to make this shit official, and here it is.

Trolla Kumi shows off what her Bon Voyage covers should have been.

Kumi Koda released her latest album Bon Voyage a few weeks ago, and somehow she managed to grab the #1 spot on the Oricon weekly rank. While I haven't listened to Bon Voyage YET, I liked all the singles she dropped leading up to the project. So naturally, being the Skankumi fan that I am, I got all excited about her newest album (Not release, she already dropped another messy Driving Hit's remix album, the sixth one ya'll!!!!).

But when I saw the covers, I wasn't shocked for the fact that the 2 promo pictures turned out to be the actual covers, no. I was shocked with how fugly to fuckers were. And they are FUGLY, I mean it.

So out of nowhere, she's promoting her *current* tour ~Koda Kumi: Live Tour 2014 Bon Voyage~. With these posters:
