So in positive news:
Tomoko Kawase -a.k.a Tommy February6, a.k.a Tommy Heavenly6, a.k.a The inspiration for this blog's name-, or just Tommy, has been working with her husband, and that's how the brilliant green, after a long ass time, are making a proper return.
The will release a self cover album later on this month (more on that soon), and they just released the video for the lead track "A Little World", in which Tommy finally took those costumes off.
This chick is 40 years old, and while she's acting like she's young and cute, it's so nice to see the real women behind those cheesy characters. No blonde wig, no glam rock eyeliner, no toy-ish glasses! Just Tommy in some kimonos and some shots of London!.
The song itself is very laid back, which I like. Fuse that with her sweet, charming voice, and you get something you can try to sing along to, because you'll have a hard time trying to figure out what the heck she's saying. Her engrish in this song is awful, I couldn't understand most of what she sang, something about looking outside and someone coming for someone else, making her feel like 'loovies' and a snowfrake in the sky... Step up and join the parteee.
the brilliant green is back, and "The Swingin' Sixties" drops on July 23th!
